  • I actually agree with seesaw that telling her to post from a computer was stupid.

  • I remember the gated community internet safety girl, but I have no idea if it was Seesaw. I also remember thinking about that thread that "internet safety" was the only thing anyone could find to flame about that post which was rigoddamndiculous. I for one give not a single fuuuck if someone wants to post all their personal info on these here intarwebs. Not my business dude. At this point, if you're posting your info on the internet, I'm going to assume you're an adult and not ignorant of the risks involved and let you do whatever you want without trying to ram web safety down your throat because I can't find anything else to biiitch about.

I linked my wedding website for everyone here to proof, and, as is typical around here, I got about 3 responses about my actual website, and the rest were saying "OMG YOURE GOING TO GET KIDNAPPED AND ALL OF YOUR STUFF IS GOING TO GET STOLEN AT YOUR WEDDING YOU'RE AN IDIOT FOR POSTING THIS GAAAAAHHHH!!!" </div><div>

  • Ok, regardless of whether or not it was flame, it was stupid. Oh, your POS car broke down because it's old? Well buy a new one!!!!! Helpful. So, jess, I think you're being a bit ridiculous.

  • Seesaw, I had totally forgotten about the organized religion and internet safety things (at least that they were you).  What I remember flaming you for was that you asked ten billion questions about planning your wedding.  It was like you couldn't make one gosh darn decision all by yourself.  It got really old.

Also, kinda jealous of everyone with an iPad/tablet. I would love to get one of those things.

I've been wanting one because they have a lot of medical apps that are extremely popular with medical students.  I'd say over half of my class has one, and they use them frequently in the hospital.  I've got some of the apps on my smart phone, but having a slightly larger screen to use them with would be nice.

And I wasn't badmouthing the length of the thread.  I think it's neat to see the evolution of the conversation, especially over a long period of time.
