Has anyone been in contact with them recently? I e-mailed them a few weeks ago and got no response, so I called a few days later and set up my engagement session. I also had a question that they were going to look into and get back to me with an answer. I never heard back from them. Two weeks has past and today we were scheduled to have the engagement session. They did not show and no one has returned my call. I have heard nothing, but RAVE reviews on here. I was very surprised and was just wondering if anyone else has dealt with anything like this.

I am using them and have had no problems.  They don't always write back with an email so next time you write them one say please write an email back confirming you have received it.  I really like the way my engagement pics turned out!

I am not working with them but they do have great reviews from what I have seen, but not showing up for an appt would worry me imo

Hi,I am using John Agnello and he has been wonderful.  We even got a reminder call a day before our engagement photos. But I have never emailed them I always speak over the phone.  I was just at his studio last week as well so they are definitely available.

I would be annoyed if my phototgrapher didn't show up for a scheduled engagement session. I would expect a phone call if they needed to cancel. I would email that you are concerned that they didn't show and that you are concerened with their lack of response. Rave reviews or not, he needs to be professional.

It sounds like there was a miscommunication somewhere.  I would try and call them again and explain to them that you were of the understanding that your E-pics were scheduled for this weekend but no one showed up for them., etc.

Thanks for your responses. I did call yesterday, while we were waiting in the parking lot and left a message to call me back. If I dont hear from them by this afternoon, I plan on caling again, although the office is closed Monday. I am concerned, because I don't want to have to worry if they'll show up for my wedding. I know they have great credentials and never thought this would be an issue. Thanks again for listening to me ramble on. Have a great day everyone!

I don't care how many rave reviews they have if that happened to me I would lose all trust I had for that photographer. He would really need to come back with a very good explanation of what happened and somehow ensure me to the point were I felt confident that he would show up for my actual wedding day.

I agree with Seabass.  There have been a few photographers who got rave reviews for a long time and then fell off the face of the earth-- Celebrations and Pitellis.  Not that this will necessarily happen to you linda, but I'd make sure you get a satisfactory explanation from him.

I am using them and I actually got a call from John just last week to set up times for the day of.  I'd try calling again and see what's up?

I called again today and no answer (they are closed on Monday). I left a message requesting a phone call early tomorrow morning with an explanation. I'll keep you posted on the outcome.  He better have a good reason! Thanks again ladies for your opinions and advice.
