My friend and I want to go on a little day trip but we have no ideas.  Any ideas?

    Apple picking, wine tasting, tour a historical site, shopping ... how far outside your home area are you willing to go?If it's not too cold (I haven't been outside yet), there are some cool Hudson River cruises that leave out of Weehawken (I know you're further south so IDK if you would want to drive that far up). We took one in the fall a few years ago and it was nice ... the guide pointed out things on the NJ and NYC side of historical or cultural or environmental significance. The boat turned around right before West Point. If it's too cold to sit outside on the deck they have an indoor sheltered area where you can sit and see/hear everything.

    A fun day trip (and not very husband friendly) is Smithville. Perfect for a day out with a girlfriend.

    Too late for apple picking.New Hope is a good idea.  What about a part of the city you haven't been to?  Brooklyn?  Hoboken?
