I've seen pics like that before, and I don't think it's that uncommon during session.  I think that those pics are typically not broadcasted from the set normally.

That is most likely a variation of a photoshop (or lightroom) preset (like from totally rad actions,etc).  It's typical to create a layer with the filtered preset, tweak it, and then use the brush to change to "opacity" (or strength of the preset) on different parts of the picture.  The shot from the camera looked nothing like that.I'm working on a set now, that I took at my nephews little league game, I am trying to make the set look animated and "cartoon" like.  Here is an example of of one of my edits (no thats not me!)[img]http://tinyurl.com/ydtlav3[/img]

For the original set you posted, the photographer edited each picture as if they were going to display one of the individually (and not show the rest).  The set has no flow to it at all due to the varied edit styles.  They don't even look like they were all taken on the same day.  It's best to decide on a theme and stick with it (maybe stray a few here and there that are good contenders for unique stuff).

Wonder if that was her idea or the photog's "vision" lol.  They did have some nice pics...but I'm not into the floor makeout session.  Uh...at least not with a photographer snapping away.  lol  I can only imagine if FI was "directed" to do that.  Not very likely it'd happen.
