A Personal Message...

I am strongly considering hand writing a personal message to each guest on the table place card (inside part)

If i do it I will put a note in a frame on the tabel with some cute way of telling them to look on the other side

That's what a thank you card is for .  Don't waste your time doing it twice.

a bunch of my guests didn't even take their place card to their table, let alone look inside it or read directions. Save your time and don't do it.

If they are staying at a hotel, you could leave the note for them there.

This is a very nice idea.

Unfortunately, no one will notice. If this is something you feel strongly about doing, only do it for the close friends/family. They'll probably all be sitting together & they'd be the only ones to notice & care. It is quite touching.

I think it's a sweet idea but I'm not sure if they would see it.  I agree with PP that you should save your efforts for the thank you notes because maybe not everyone will get a really special personalized message and is it worth it?  

Maybe if you use place cards for the rehearsal dinner, you could do something like this (it would be more intimate and only the closest guests)...?

Still on the fence about it I think I might do it we have over 11 months left our entire wedding is planned and 80% paid off So I am getting ancy lol. Im going to make bathroom baskets and start planning hotel bags first see how much time that takes up )
