Looking To Find Someone To Take Our Venue and Date

Hello All,

I am looking for anyone who is shopping for wedding venues and are looking for a deal.  We were unable to commit to our origianl date and are looking for someone to take the date so we can have our contract cancelled.  So if anyone is interested in looking at Bonnet Island for this summer (It is a saturday date and I will provide the date to anyone who is interested) please PM me and I can provide more details.  This place is outstanding and am still upset we are unable to continue using this place, everyone we dealt with was fantastic, I woud recommend it to anyone.  To thank you for helping we are willing to throw the deposit money that we would get back to whoever takes the date.  To find out how much that is again please PM me so we know your serious and I will provide more details.

Here is the website of the place:
http://www.bonnetislandestate.com/

It is located right off of Long Beach Island in NJ.
Thank you for looking and hope that someone can help us out!

Also if anyone knows other places that I can look at to spread this news to help us out that would be wonderful.  Any information would help.

    Thanks again.
  • You may have already done this, but you could try posting this on the South Jersey and Philadelpia boards.  BI draws a lot of brides from there also.  Also - try searching on this board... I seem to remember a bride inquiring about BI recently.

This is a longshot... but could you do an email blast somehow of NJ wedding planners with the specifics?  Now, they may be shopping around for venues with newly engaged brides and may welcome the information.  Just a thought.

I attended a wedding at BI a few years ago and, had it been in our budget, would've been where we got married.  It is absolutely stunning.  I hope you can enjoy it one day.  Good luck!

  • This might be a long shot, but maybe it will work! I saw a news story about a company called Bridal Brokerage. They basically sell your wedding date and whatever you have already booked. I dont know much of the details, but here is the link to the news story for you. Good luck!

  • Thank you for the posts! I am now checking out the Bridal Brokerage site for help as well.
  • The date was taken!

    Thank you!
