St. Mary of the Lake Church in Lakewood
Just a heads up to anyone being married there or looking into it. The deacon in charge of the marriage ministry is no longer there. Another woman is handling it.
Why is this important? It seems they've lost our entire file since we were there in February. I've been on the phone and e-mailed, and can't seem to get a straight answer as to what they do or do not have. After speaking to another secretary at the parish, it has became clear this is not the only file in question.
I guess the lesson is to keep tabs on the church as you would any other vendor. I just wanted other brides to be aware, so they can take care of anything amiss.
