Le Club Avenue?

Hello everyone - fiance and I are thinking of looking at Le Club Avenue in Long Branch, NJ for a venue and I just came across some TERRIBLE reviews, regarding bouncers and weddings having to end at 9:30 PM because of the club.

Are these true? Has anyone had this experience?

Yes.  I looked there for my wedding, and they basically said if the wedding is not over by 10pm, then we need to buy bottles and reserve a table to stay there otherwise they kick you out.  Also, they do it more as a cocktail party than a sit-down dinner and have very little seating available- like at best they will set up 1 table for you- so if you have older relatives that need to sit they will be very unhappy.

For the money they charge, I'd suggest to look elsewhere that treats you better.

Did you search this board too? I seem to remember a bride who wrote a review last summer, and basically said more of the same. What is it about that place that you like? Maybe we can help with some alternatives.

<div>Yes, I remember reading something from a bride who basically said her wedding night was ruined because of the bouncers at Avenue practically picked up the groomsmen to get the out of the club, and the groom or someone in the wedding party almost got into a fight with a bouncer.  </div><div>

  • Don't book there! I've never heard any wedding reviews, but I've been there for dinner and the food is awful! Totally not worth the money you are asked to pay,
  • We've since been to Le Club Avenue and have decided not to book for several reasons - we came across the Spring Lake Bath & Tennis Club online so maybe we'll check that out. Thank you!
