QuickCandles.com Review (*Peaches*) - FOLLOW UP

Peaches - if you could add this review to our vendor site, that would be great :)

I purchased 84 votive candles (white, unscented), and 84 square glass votive holders from Quickcandles.com. While they did ship extremely fast, I am very disappointed with the quality of the candles.
Since I had to order 84 candles, 72 of them came in one big box, and the other 12 came in a small pack. The 12 pack was in perfect condition - no problem with them.
However, out of the box of 72, only about 5 of them were in good condition.
The rest of the candles were all crumbling - either on the top edges, around the wick, or on the bottom edges. I literally had to sit and dust off the wax crumbs from each candle and ended up with a huge pile of "crumbs". After removing all the crumbs, most of them were left with pieces missing from them, looking chintzy.

I know that they will end up looking fine once they are burning, but I really feel that is besides the point. The candles shouldn't be in this condition to begin with.
I really feel it was due to poor packaging - 72 loose candles in a box are bound to get damaged. Had I known they would be of such poor quality, I would've just purchased candles in the dollar store or somewhere else, and spent the extra oney to ensure they looked ok.
I've emailed them to see what they say, however, I definitely will not be purchasing anything from them in the future.

On a side note, all of the glass holders were in good condition.

Peaches - I'm not sure if you saw this before it got buried.
    Thanks!

I ordered from Quick candles and got pillars- perfectly packaged no problems, plus I got LED tealights.  It was great pricing  and pretty good quality.  Did you call them back and tell them about the mishap? Maybe they can resend the candles for you.  :o/

I sent them an email and haven't heard anything back from them. I really didn't feel like dealing with sending them back and/or getting replacements. Just disappointed with the quality of the candles. I can get better quailty candles at the dollar store. I tried taking pics so I could post/share here, but you can't really see the "crumbling" because they are white candles.

Hey girlie!  I can't believe I missed this (apparently I missed it quite a few times, haha).  Any suggestions as to what section I should put it under?

So I just heard back from their customer service department after emailing them a second time. They are going to give me a refund of $14.99 which is the cost of 72 votives.
