FUN overnight bachelorette party ideas?

My friends and I are trying to plan the bachelorette for our best friend in September. Preferably within a three hour drive of North Jersey. We were looking in Wildwood, The Poconos and even into NY but we can't seem to find any places that are a) affordable for six people to split  b) do not require a 2-night minimum  and c) are FUN and not focused on clubbing/drinking.

Our friend likes fun, light-hearted activities, she's not a drinker and doesn't like dancing so those are out. We're trying to find a location that has maybe some theaters, swimming pools, arcades, scavenger hunts and would be a good overnight stay location for six ladies. Does anyone have any ideas of locations? We're stuck and everyone is arguing over where to go.....

What about ocean city, MD?  It's a little further than 3 hrs, but they have a lot of fun places and restaurants to go to down there!

Just as an example, we had considered Great Wolf Lodge in PA and Split Rock Resort in PA, but no on could agree on them so I was hoping to find something similar to those?

Not a bad idea, I'll have to click around and see what I can find in Ocean City... thanks for the suggestion :)

For a bachelorette party, I'd stay away from great wolf lodge, there's just so many kids!

That was actually the argument made over why we shouldn't go! So now we're trying to think of other alternatives that still have a fun feel to it minus the little rascals, lol

We did Baltimore for my bachelorette and it was absolutely perfect. Really affordable, a different city but not too far away, and Power Plant Live was awesome and does a bunch of special deals for bachelorettes that you get just for emailing this one girl. Let me know if you want additiojnal info on Baltimore but myself and my bridesmaids had an absolute blast.

I would agree with Baltimore or suggest DC. There are so many fun things to do down there without getting too crazy.

FI and I are going to Ocean City, MD (staying at the Holiday Inn) for a mini vacation this Thursday! I can let you know how it was sometime next week if Ocean City is a possibility for you :)

If you want to stay in NJ (please don't flag me for this!!!!) my dad owns a few beach houses in point pleasant and Long Beach island.  PM me and I'll give you the online links to his homes - he would def do a one night stay rental :)

For Point Pleasant, for my friends's b-day, we went to the race track for the afternoon and it was SUPER fun - we dressed up, got big hats, and spent a few bucks here or there on the races.  We pooled all the winnings towards dinner that night.

I just had my bachelorette party this weekend at Crystal Springs Spa and Resort!  We did the girls getaway weekend!  The suite was amazing!  The spa was fabulous (the package included $100 toward the spa).  The food was great and there are a bunch of vineyards in the area.  It was in Hamburg, NJ (about 2 hours from NYC).  I would definitely recommend it and from what my friends said it was affordable.  Let me know if you have any questions about it!

What about the Hotel Hershey in Hershey, PA?  They have an awesome spa and pools there, plus you'd be right by Hershey Park.  Even if you don't stay at the main hotel, there are other hotels nearby and you could go book spa treatments at the hotel and use the pool as well.

I absolutgely agree with Crystal Springs - we had 4 in a room and it was very affordable.  It had a great living room and kitchen and a great pool.

I also agree with Hershey - the spa is awesome, and you can also try:
www.mohonk.com Mohonk Mountain House, heavenly but expensive
    and
Baltimore - Inner Harbor is incredible, with many hotel and food choices, and great shops to walka around to.
