Umm wow, what is wrong with people, seriously.

Our dog definitely took awhile to train, pretty sure I cried a couple times in frustration from it, but would never be able to "get rid of him".  Eventually he got it and now he's like seriously the best dog ever.  Here he is, Gizmo:

Oh oh, and I have a cat, I got him 11 years ago when I was 19, and he's definitely gotten more vocal as of late, like pretty annoyingly vocal, thinking due to his age.  He also pukes a more than he used to.  FI would like to throw him off the patio sometimes, but would he actually do it-never.  Here he is, Chewy:

    Awww so cute Sara

As for the cat puke it is very common in older cats. It has to do with age and digestion (but sometimes can be a sign of something else so might pay to check with a vet). Snowy (manic depressive cat) pukes when she gets stressed (which is often) and I have found that if I use a furball formula dry food (I think you guys call it kibble) and allow them access to grass (or a potted cat grass if inside) it controls it a bit better.

Thanks-I love them:)  Awesome, thanks for the tips!  I do use the fur ball dry cat food, but I'm thinking of maybe trying a better quality one.  Definitely going to have to get some potted cat grass, where do you get that from, a pet store I'd assume?  Guessing Target or Walmart wouldn't have it..?  He's an indoor cat and only goes outside on the patio sometimes, meaning no grass for him...

We got seeds from the nursey (garden centre) and planted them in the garden and in a little indoor pot but you can buy it already potted here (not sure in the USA though).
I find it better to pay a little bit more and get the good dry food but I figure by the time you add in cleaning agents and the time it take to clean up the vomit it is way worth it! We use IAMS not sure if it is sold in the USA though.

ONLY $100, my dog has eaten about $400 in underware, and ruined countless pairs of shoes. He is almost 6 (April 21 is his bday) now, so he is much better, but other than ruining many dollars worth of REPLACEABLE items, last year I almost lost him :( he had a surgery that cost me almost $4000, but without it he would have died, and I couldn't bear to lose him!! When people found out how much he cost me, most asked how much it would have been to just put him down, I was HORRIFIED! It makes me so sad that people buy dogs and just "get rid of" them!! If I could afford more, we would have soo many!

I don't know where to find the OP but it sounds bad! I'm with others about puppies being my world. My little guys get into so much trouble but their little faces are tough to stay mad at for long!

These are my pups, Harry & Rusty! Loved seeing everyone elses!

Good point on the cleaning agents, yep we have IAMS, he's almost out of food so I'm going to give it a go, we give our dog good food, should probably do the same for my kitty:)  Thanks on the grass tips too, going to look into that soon.

[QUOTE]The post makes me so sad. I have two dogs, both Maltese/Pomeranian mixes. They happen to be wonderful dogs! I can't imagine getting rid of either one of them.
