I have a bunch of family coming in from England for the wedding and want to keep costs low. Any opinions on these two hotels Good or Bad. Reviews at IP scare me to much to stick them there even though is central. These are the next cheapest. Any one stayed?

I have heard mixed reviews on IP but I think you'll read mixed reviews about multiple hotels on the strip. Flamingo is near IP and I think their prices are reasonable, especially due to location. I'm considering them due to price and they have some updated rooms.
Have you looked at Flamingo? I am not sure how their prices compare to Luxor or Excalibur though... Good luck

The week of our wedding at flamingo prices average 150 a nught. next week average 60 a night, strange. After paying 1k for a flight you try to save as much as possible. Thanks again
I agree. I just didn't know what the difference was in cost so that's why I asked. I'm in that position as well - trying to save $20 here and there, etc. Everything counts! I've noticed the price jumps as well. I think it depends on the time of year, and when it jumps a lot from week to week it is most likely because a convention or some kind of event is occuring that week/end where they anticipate higher demand...
How many nights does everyone usually stay in Vegas? I want to have a nice time but I'm debating how many nights I want to stay overall because of cost as well (not only hotel cost but food per day, etc.)
Were only staying in vegas till sunday though and then traveling to Zion national park and grand canyon with some of our guests. Super excited about that.
[QUOTE]thanks reviews on tripadvisor do favor luxor. Any one know how much the resprt fee is? The week of our wedding at flamingo prices average 150 a nught. next week average 60 a night, strange. After paying 1k for a flight you try to save as much as possible. Thanks again

You'll get screwed out of $20/day minimum at Excalibur, Luxor or Mandalay since they're all part of MGM group. For value and no resort fee, I personally prefer Flamingo, it has the side benefit of being central strip.

In my opinion, the Flamingo is the prime location on the Strip and has reasonable room rates with no resort fees.
