Nevada-Las Vegas

PSA Restaurant.com 80% off

Restaurant.com is having 80% off of their restaurant gift cards with the promo code BONUS.

If you go to Nevada there are tons of restaurants to choose from including some places in the MB. I was looking for Texas Station so I did not go through all of them but I also saw strip burger as well. I got $75 worth of gift certificates for like $6. YAY!!! Just read the fine print, like $35 minimum or some does not apply for alcohol.

Thanks for posting this.  This would be great for "our" special dinner while we are there.

    Do they expire???????
I just tried to read the 'terms and conditions' and they didn't come up!

You know what I did not know that either. I figured since I was spending $6 I could just try it. I have the coupons in my inbox I will print them out and see what they say. I got a $25 for the steakhouse at the Texas Station for my friends weddings in June, so I hope it doesn't expire by then!! Ill check and let you know :)

Cool, because I just emailed my entire family about this bc most of them are staying at MB and there were so many MB restaurants!
Thanks so much for the info!!!! My family will be so happy!

I'm pretty sure they do not expire. I use the vouchers all the time. They have a ton of vouchers for the restaurants in Mandalay Bay. Also a few in Hard Rock, you kinda have to go through the Vegas list to find what your looking for, but you can also sort by cuisine.
    Terms:
Usually its a minimum purchase depending on the restaurant it may or may not include alcohol. After using them, they will email you a survey of your dining experience.

Anyone know if you're allowed to use multiple Restaurant.com gift certificates on one dinner?  Like, if we went to Mix at MB, had a $400 tab, and used eight $50 gift cards to knock $200 off the bill, is that kosher?
  • edited December 2011
No, most of them say 1 per party. One of mine even said one per party- even if there is separate checks or if you sit at separate tables. But some places have like up to $100 gift cards, and you would get 80% off of that. So just one gift card, no matter the amount. I would assume though that if it was a $100 gift card, they would probably say $200 minimum or something. They are not doing this out of the good of their hearts haha :)

Ha, I thought that would be too good to be true!  I was like, "Hm, can I use these for my parents' dinner on our first night in Vegas?"

Oh well-- on the up side though, I bought a $25 gift certificate to MB's The Cafe for each one of our bridesmaids/groomsmen (for a breakfast, or lunch, whatever)-- I figure we can pair that with their other gifts and it makes a nice little package.  For $2 per attendant, not bad!  Thanks for the heads up on this!

Ok so question, let's say we were to get 2 $100 gifts certs for Stripburger, and one each was used at two different tables/checks, you don't think that would work? I've bought these before for here in MN and I know you can only use one per our meal but it's usually just the two of us so never tried something like this, like how are they to know we are the same party?  There will be about 40 of us......we split up into two groups and we are obviously at seperate tables, if there's two total checks I don't see how they can say no...

    Thoughts?

I'd obviously be ticked if we decided to host a Meet & Greet for food there due to the gift cards and then all the sudden we could only use one, maybe I should just call and ask,  I mean we'd still be spending whatever there, so it's not like it would be free by any means, hmm....

To add onto my long post:)  Let's say my parents are all the sudden hey we want to get one check, and his parents want to get the other....I just don't see how they could say no to that..........but I could be totally wrong as they can obviously do what they want:)

I would call to make sure, Sara-- I bought a few for The Cafe and Border Grill at MB, and they say on them "Only one (1) REstautant-Specific Gift certificate may be redeemed per party, per month, per restaurant, even if the party is seated at seperate tables and/or receives more than one check."

It didn't say that on the website before I bought them, but I just wanted you to know so you don't get stuck!

Yeah I would definitely call. They would not be able to know if you got seated 10 here and 10 there, but once you guys start socializing they might be able to say no somehow. I guess I would just call and say "hey im gonna still spend $500 (or whatever) can you help me out?" They could only say no but I would hate for you to go there and get and unexpected $100 extra charge :/

    Woohoo Thanks Shannyn!
I just bought one for Hash House A go-go, stripburger, border grill and another mexican that I can't remember. We are going to take all the folks out to dinner and use the $50 one we got (since we have to spend $100 to use it). Even better because of the crazy exchange rates it only cost me $10.55AU not bad for $110 in vouchers.

To update-- I bought a bunch for my bridesmaids/groomsmen (for breakfast and stuff), told my mom about the promotion and suggested she might want to look into it.  Her initial reaction was "Meh, I don't know,"...she calls me two hours later to report that she had bought 11 coupons, for every MB restaurant from Mix to StripSteak to Hussong's Cantina, haha.  Crazy!
