Friday instead of Saturday

Hi ladies:We're braving the hurricane and going to look at a couple of places this weekend. I know a friend of ours said that she saved a ton of money by having her wedding on a Friday. Does anyone know which venues offer significant discounts for a Friday affair?I'm actually thinking that might work to help cut down on who's coming!!Thanks!

    I have heard this about Friday too, but I am doing a Sunday.  I have found a lot more flexiability with vendors and often they will provide discount. GL!

    Almost all of the venues offered pretty good discounts for a Friday or Sunday wedding. In addition, many offered a lower min. guest count - which really helps to lower cost. Ocean Edge was the only place I looked at who didn't discount the price - but were more flexible with the guest count. (I looked at Whychmere Harbor, Wequassett, Popponesset, Chatham Bars Inn) HTH
