Pamet Habor Yacht Club or Chequessett Yacht and Country Club

Hey everyone!  I'm new, but am planning on a September 2011 wedding and trying to find a oceanside and casual venue.  I've been looking at Pamet Harbor Yacht Club and Chequessett Yacht and Country Club.  I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience (good or bad) with either?  Thanks so much!

I looked at both of those places, too. I am leaning a little more toward CYCC just because Reven (the manager) seems great and they seem to have a lot of experience with weddings. Though Pamet is really cool and less expensive, I feel like it would be a lot of work to do everything yourself. Plus, our guest list is almost 150 people, so we would need a tent for Pamet. It's such a cool spot, though!

Hi, i booked my wedding at CYCC and i cant wait! (even though its next year!) Reven is great to work with! she is very laid back and heplful with any questions. We are having our ceremony on the beach and the cocktail/reception on the boat deck right above the beach. It only hold up to 125 though, otherwise you have to go into the country club for dinner. It is very laid back and beautiful, she has an amazing photo book of a previous wedding there if you go and meet with her. The packages are very affordable compared to some other venues we were looking at as well.

thanks so much for your help!  i'm going to go look at both places in a couple of weeks, and hopefully one will work!  i'm definitely leaning towards CYCC, and so far Reven has been great and very laidback, just like you said.
