I agree with Meaghan and that the easiest way to cut your budget is cut your guest list! We are absolutely thrilled that we kept our list down and in the long run our budget down. My budget is not as strict as yours, but it really helped so I didn't feel like I needed to skimp on things I cared about....food, flowers, and lastly open bar.I also agree with Meaghan about the open bar issue. I think something should be provided-sig drink, beer or wine. I was MOH in my bestfriend's wedding and there was not an open bar, the wedding party even had to pay for drinks. It was kind of ridiculous when I had already shelled out over $1000 to fly there, and all the other stuff. It's just something to think about. Also, something else you could think about would be to do something on the other side of the bridge, Plymouth or wherever. It's not the Cape, but it's still beautiful New England beaches. Also, look into doing an off-day wedding Friday or Sunday. It will save you $.
