March 24 weddings!

Has anyone sent out their invitations for their March 24th wedding?  If not, when do you plan to?

I already sent mine out.  They were sitting on my dining room table taunting me, and just had to go!

But both sides of are family are from OOT, so that's why we sent it.

same here - we sent them out Jan 2 and they have a rsvp date of feb 18 because our hotel will only block rooms until then and it will give us a week to hunt down those we dont get a response from and I will be doing custom escort card/favors so i want to have enough time to get those personalized.  

double check when you need to give yoru venue or caterer your final count by

Nope, I haven't sent mine out yet. They will go out next Friday with an RSVP date of February 24.

I was planning to send mine out next week, but they went out this past weekend because of unforseen circumstances

Ours went out last week. our wedding is about 3 hours from everyone so we wanted to give everyone enough time to plan

Some inconsiderate people moved their event from February, when it's happened every year for the past 10, to the weekend before the wedding. Now I'm not trying to be bridezilla and monopolize two weekends, but there is significant guest overlap between the event and our wedding and I know that a number of people won't be able to travel two weekends in a row. So news of the new event date went out last Friday and FI and I dashed to the post office on Saturday in hopes that we'd fair better as far as attendance.
It just really irks me because we went out of our way to pick a date that wasn't close to or interfering with any other events and one of FIs GM was involved in planning this other thing but got out voted on the new date
