I love this dress but I need some sparkle:





Do you think I could add some kind of detail under the bust like this:

That would be enough sparkle for me as I would wear something in my hair, chandelier style dangly earrings and a really sparkly bracelet or four.

I don't think that dress needs any sparkle at all.  Add the bracelet, your earrings, and some sparkle to your hair, and I think that will compliment that dress well !

I agree with PP. I think the dress is beautiful and classic the way it is. Sparkle may take away from the detail.  I would add sparkle with your accessories.

You can also add sparkle with your shoes!!!! That's always a plus :-)
