Nervous about Budget

Hi Ladies,

Now that is getting closer to the date I'm really starting to get nervous about the budget.  For the past year I have been making automatic payments into a savings account for the wedding, but for the past two months the transfer was not made.  I think we will be okay, it will just be a close one... and we may have to skip out on a few items.  Anyone else, worried about their budget?

    We are a bit nervous too.  We do have the extra money available but I was definitely not planning on spending so much!!!  Everytime I turn around I feel like there is another added expense.   We have sat down and written out a list of absolutely everything that will go into our wedding and our estimated or quoted price and have decided that we will absolutely not add anything else!  Pinterest and the internet in general are my worst enemies!

    Remember the most part of your day is the I Do!  Everything else is just fluff.  You don't want to start your married lives together in horrible debt!

    I am absolutely nervous about the budget, and we have just gotten engaged. My biggest concern is I want to keep things on the ecconomic side. I grew up very poor, and my FI grew up, well not rich, but he was not hurting for money ever. He say he wants to keep the cost down as well, but then turns around and talks about having things like an open bar. It makes me super nervous.

    I think everyone who is paying for their own wedding worries about budget...of course things are adding up quickly for me and I sort of freak out thinking about it sometimes, but I know it will be fine.

    The worst part for me will be the week or so before the wedding and the final push of giving vendors their final payments. I'll probably have to put a bit on my credit cards, but should be able to pay off within the month after the wedding.

    i am finding myself trying to make cuts that will not be as noticable becuase we decided to try to go to comic-con in san diego for our honeymoon so i am trying to gather some extra money for that
