Bridesmaid T-Shirts. . . a Poll.

One of the things on my DIY list is t-shirts for my girls and I to wear on the day of the wedding when we go to get our pedicures, our hair/makeup done, and as we get dressed. I ordered these t-shirts for $6.50 today from Old Navy (the girls will have pink, mine will be white). . .

I designed these rhinestone templates today to go on them. . .

The finished product would have the above ^ in rhinestones on the chest of the shirt. Initally, I thought the "Bridesbabe" saying was a cute alternative to the plain ol' "Bridesmaid". But now I'm a little worried it won't make sense or honor their position as much as I am hoping it will. My girls are awesome and super fun, so I don't think they would be embarrased or offended by wearing a "Bridesbabe" t-shirt.

What do you think?

I didn't vote only because I'm torn... I like it, but not enough to wear it.
Can you ask them what they think of the word without giving a reason why? Sorry, I'm not much help =/

  • Are they going to be able to slip those over their heads ok to not mess up hair and makeup? I can't tell how much room there is from the picture.

  • I think it's cute. Nothing that has anything in rhinestones across the chest is my style (sorry!), but the idea behind it is fun, and I like that it's a bit different.

    Life is good today.
  • I'm not really a big fan of them to be honest, and I'd be worried that my hair/makeup would get messed up when I was taking it off because it would have to go over my head.

  • The neck opening is very large. I don't think they'll be a problem with hair/makeup and they would certianly be better than those tank tops you can buy for nearly $25 a pop.

The bridesbabe thing would also be cute for bachelorette party shirts :) I voted for the variation, but it really comes down to how your girls will feel about them. edit: stupid autocorrect

  • I'd talk to your BMs and see what they like better. I'm honestly not a fan of 'bridesbabe' but that's just me. So yeah, ask your girls or at least your MOH if you're trying to keep it a surprise.

  • I like bridesmaid better than bridesbabe for day-of, but I think bridesbabe would be cute for a bachelorette party.

As PPs have said, just ask your girls what they would want more (indirectly) and go with that.

  • Agreed with all of the above. I'm probably not getting my girls anything like this because I think it is just a waste of money. They'll throw it into the back of their closets as soon as they get home, I know I would. But I know a lot of people do it. I am not a fan of "bridesbabe" for the day of, but it depends on your circle of girls.
