Save the date, question.

I am getting ready to start addressing my save the dates.  Is it rude to use a stamp or an address label for the enevelopes?  What did everyone else do?  I was also thinking about putting the envelopes in the printer and printing addresses on them.  Thoughts, please.

Save the Dates are less formal than the invitations. In the case of STDs you can get away with using address labels. Invitations are where etiquette states you should be handwriting your addresses

Can I use these return adress labels I got off vista print? And then hand write in the guest addresses? Will that look okay? I don't mind hand writing the guest addresses but I already have the labels so it'll save some time if I use those

I think that would be fine   Use the labels- then people have your return address & you don't have to keep re-writing it.

i think that should be fine. i had my return address printed on our save the dates (they were postcards), and then i just wrote in the guests' addresses. i think labels would be just the same.

I just addressed mine yesterday (it took me a LOT longer than I thought it would). I just put my envelopes through the printer. But I agree with PPs, STDs are less formal so I think using address labels are fine.
