Accountability - Tuesday

Time for our daily accountability again! How is everyone doing today? Any big updates from the weekend?

I am starting a new strength workout tomorrow morning, sticking to cardio tonight before going to our business meeting. Interested to see how its going to go with the new one is going to go.... a friend who is a personal trainer put it together for me, its all with the medicine ball.

  • So far so good!  I meal planned for the week and I'm making pork chops and mashed potatos tonight (easy on the butter!).  I also cleaned the apartment all morning, I think I burned some serous calories doing just that.

    I really need to get back to the gym.  I've been doing better, but not great.

  • Your pic says it all - even when I really don't feel like working out (and yes, it does happen to me!), I will only feel worse if I don't. That's why i tend to workout in the morning because it can really kick start my day, and the workout isn't looming over me all day haha

    Yesterday I was able to start running again after a 5 day hiatus.  I decided to "gauge" how well I could do long distance wise to see if I should sign up for a half marathon in May.  I ended up running 11.2 miles so I would say it's a go :)  After I did my 7 mile loop I felt great, and continued feeling pretty good until I hit that last mile, then I started to crap out.  I guess I no longer have an excuse to not sign up for it.
  • we went back to the gym yesterday after not going since friday. i tried to do my normal routine but i was having a pretty bad stomachache so i only did about 15 minutes of cardio. i did a bunch of abs and shoulders and back exercises though.

    Happily married since 9/1/2012!

  • I went to the gym saturday and sunday... lost 1 lb in the last 5 days! Yay!

  • I started 30 day shred again this week.  So I've done 30DS, butt and thigh pilates and I'm trying to get in at least 40 min of cardio on the stationary bike.

    I tried to do 6 week 6 pack last night and couldn't do a lot of it, because a lot of the moves hurt my knees.

    I'm also on day 2 of the 100 pushup challenge.
  • I doubled up my exercise yesterday because I skipped the day before (all day mother of bride/groom dress shopping so lots of walking!) I did chest and back along with a core stability ball workout. I am really loving the Supreme 90 day workout system it kicks my butt in a good way. I also just ordered 6 week 6 pack because I saw Dirty Water talking about it and it looked like a good add on for when my exercise is not focused on abs.

  • Today was one of those 'didn't want to go' days... I wanted to most of the day, then when work was ending I was thinking about sitting on the couch... I went anyway and feeling great now :)
