Weekend Checks: As of Day 147

OFFICIANT:
This morning we met with an officiant that we absolutely adore!  He is super awesome and so down to earth.  We spoke with him for 30 minutes and left feeling that no doubt he would be the one to marry us.  We will be doing our premarital counseling with him as well.    CHECK!


DESIGN PROPOSAL:
My event designer called and said she sent my proposal.  YAY!  I am eager to see it except she said she sent it last evening.  I've nothing from her in my email from her.  ARGGH!!  Now I am anxiously waiting.   This is  the next biggest item on the budget after the reception and the only remaining budget item to be filled in.  I am hoping there will be $$$ remaining for some of my "wish" items. AN ALMOST CHECK!!

Great that you found the officiant. We found ours a few weeks ago and after I told my parents, FOB wants us to meet with his pastor to see if he would do it. I told him we will meet him to be polite but we are not changing our minds cause this is the same reason we put our foot down with my FFIL. We are not giving any of these proud papas any grandstanding rights. FI said the only person who is allowed any grandstanding rights is his FMIL because she is the only mother around.

I am hoping to make a dent in my list this weekend as well lol
