[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Show me your dress : I ended up with a finger tip length veil. It has some beading around the edges that kind of looks like it matches the corset. What did you pick? I just found a pic of the blush online- I think it's really pretty and will go well with brown BM dresses. My girls are wearing plum.  I LOVE the idea of a hoop slip. I haven't picked my slip yet- the store told me I can wait until the dress comes in and then try on a bunch of slips to see what I like the most. All I know is I want is sufficiently huge.  I haven't really gotten anything else yet. Here are the shoes I reallly want though: <a href="http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/ivanka-trump-dermani-sandal-nordstrom-exclusive/3230772?origin=category&resultback=3836" rel="nofollow">http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/ivanka-trump-dermani-sandal-nordstrom-exclusive/3230772?origin=category&resultback=3836</a> But I need to go to Nordstrom's to try them on to see if they are comfy and whatnot. Have you gotten any shoes/jewerly yet? I'm so lost on jewerly- everyone who knows me knows I'm not a huge jewerly person. I don't even have pierced ears, but I'm willing to get them pierced if I decide I really need earings. My sister hinted that she might want to buy me my bridal jewerly- I really don't know at this point. Are you wearing anything on your head? My mom is trying to convince me to get some kind of headband type thing, but I"m thinking maybe a comb?

</div><div>I'm seriously considering this veil because the applique seems like it would go well with the appliques on the dress:</div><div>

    </div><div>
</div><div>I'm also afraid the length won't be the best on me. I've read a lot on different lengths of veils and since I am a bit heftier on top, the shorter veils aren't as flattering supposedly.</div><div>
</div><div>I have been collecting pics of brides wearing the dress! lol I've been stalking past boards as well, since our gown is an older model, to see what they say in regards to veil, accessories, etc. </div><div>
</div><div>I love the shoes you picked! Those are gorgeous! I am debating between these two pairs of shoes from BHLDN: </div>

</div><div>I like them both, but the first pair would be more comfortable for me since I am a swing dancer and I know we will be dancing a lot that night. Plus I can re-use them!</div><div>
</div><div>As far as accesories go, I haven't decided yet. I do really want a pair of art deco-ish earrings though. I also will probably be wearing a fascinator with ostrich feathers. I can't wait!!!

  • I like that veil a lot! I think it would match really well. PIcking a length that looked good on me was really hard but I think some of the veils I tried on came in multiple lengths.

Definitely the first shoes! They are very unique! Plus, being comfortable is a must with the amount of walking/standing

PM me if you buy anything for your dress!

I think you're right on the shoes...and i have a similiar pair that I wear when we go dancing, so these would go a long way after the wedding too! Thanks for the insight!
I will for sure let you know when I buy anything for my gown! You do the same for me too! :)
