My fiance and I have decided to have a smaller wedding that is fancier and more costly and since we are paying per person, we don't want everyone bringing their kids. I have a huge family and if everyone brings their children it will double the number of guests and highly increase the cost of our wedding. How do I word, "Please don't bring your children," on our invitations without sounding completely rude?
P.S. My dad's side of the family will probable get upset.
