Which Adhesives to Use?

I am DIYing my own pocketfold invites. I will need to use an adhesive for the backing layer (onto the pocketfold) and then for the invite onto the backing layer. Any suggestions on what form of adhesive to use? I am worried about glue causing wrinkles in the papers. I have heard Zip Dry glue is good?

I'm using double-sided tape and it's highly recommended here and on the DIY board.

I found one of those roll-on adhesives, it's worked really well.  Anything that's rated for heavy-duty scrapbooking should be sufficient.

The 3M permanent double-sided tape is fantastic stuff. It isn't permanent right away, so you can fix things if you act quickly, but when it adheres, it sticks really well.

Another vote for the 3M permanent adhesive here - I used it for everything in an ATG Tape Gun. Couldn't have done much of my DIY without it!!

I'm using rubber cement.  I'm not gonna lie, it kind of makes a mess, but it's not hard to clean it up (rubs off really easily).  If you spread the glue on both pieces of paper before you stick them together, it holds really tight and doesn't wrinkle!
