Wedding deal and response card wording help PLEASE!!

My venue is offering me price breaks depending on the age of the person attending. Children 7 and under are free, 7-16 are at a discounted rate, and 17 and above are full price, so guests will need to tell me which age group they are in so that I can hopefully save some money. How can I put that into a response card?

Do you not already know their ages?  That seems like a very basic thing to know about people who are close enough to merit an invitation to your wedding.  If you don't already know, I think you'd need to contact the parents and find out.  It would be really, really impersonal to get an invitation that asked that.

What I would do is, if they RSVP bringing the kids, and you just really can't even give a good guess of the age, I'd call and explain the catering situation and just ask for the kid(s) age.

Don't put it on the invite.  Once they RSVP, call those that you don't know about.

I saw someone do this once. It was not pretty. The card was so busy with text that the font size was tiny and hard to read.
