STD's -- can I see yours for ideas?

OK so I want to send out some STD's but I have no idea what to do. We are not doing engagement pictures because FI is deployed. So what else can you do for STDs?

I saw one with a calendar for the month and year, with a heart drawn around the date of the wedding. I thought they were adorable! 

I'm designing my own invitations, so i made save the dates that match. They have a monogram, our first names, the date and they say "save the date" at the bottom. They also have some various scroll work and borders that match the invites. I'll try to figure out how to upload a picture.

I have pics in my bio (in my signature). Look under "paper." I'm getting married in the fall, so I sued a fall-themed postcard from vistaprint. HTH!

We love live music and met at a concert (not randomly, but through a  friend).  I found a program online to make our very own concert ticket. I then printed the ticket onto magnetic sheets (6 or 7 tickets per sheet).

I put our names on the first two lines- and "are engaged!!!" on the third,  then save the date, location, date.   I also sent a card with our hotel block and information about the area (attractions, bars, restaurants, etc).  We only sent them to people from out of town (his family and our friends).

Mine is similiar to Ellen. I made two "Tickets" to our reception and ceremony on Photoshop. See in my bio under paper.

PIB under All Things Paper. Ours are very besic, which I don't like now, but they were the first of our wedding stationary that I designed and I just made myself a template from the inspiration of one I found when I googled STD cards. I ordered them as standard postcards (100) from Vistaprint for free and just paid shipping.
