Return vs RSVP address

My parents are the "hosts" but we would like to RSVPs to come to us (my mom is not very organized and we forsee a lot of lost RSVPs if she was in charge of them). So can the return address and the rsvp address be different? Also, if we want gifts to be sent to us instead of my parents, should we just put my address for both?

The hosts are indicated on the invitation.

I don't see any issue with your address being the return address and RSVP address. I'm sure there's some minor etiquette issue with it, but logistically speaking it makes sense.

BTW, your registries will automatically have your gifts sent where you want.
  • We wrote our mothers as the host but the return and RSVP address were ours.

  • The return address was my parents' address as they hosted, but RSVPs came to us.

  • I dont think anyone will notice. I didnt even think of that. I have my parents as the hosts on the invitation and both the return address and the rsvp address were mine.
