Invite quantity question

If we're aiming for 60-70 guests (a small wedding), how many people do we invite? Of course, we have to expect some people won't be able to make it, but don't want to find ourselves with more people than our target range.

If you want 60-70 guests, you should invite 60-70 guests.  Everyone on here will tell you to plan for 100% acceptance and not to invite more people than you can actually host.

We had about a 30% decline rate... but I've seen ladies on here who had no declines and also who had 50% or more.

I agree with the above posters.   I sent out save the dates to 146 people.  I was SURE at least 20 of them would not show up because they were out of state.  My invitations haven't even gone out yet and half of those 20 have already booked flights.

Plan for 100% attendance.

Like others suggested, always plan for 100%, but if you could also have a 'B List' if you do get a lot of declines
