What is your groom wearing on the big day?

He will wear a light grey, three-piece suit.

And, he isn't wearing a boutenniere... he thinks it looks corny like prom. LOL

So far he is wearing a modern fit suit in black and he and all the groomsmen will be rocking converse we still havent decided on the boutenniere because he hasn't seen any he likes. BTW I like the light grey!

He will have a black suit with everything else white. The GM will have blue ties and pocket square and the ring bearer will have a mix of white and blue. As for boutennieres, FI will probably have a blue rose (to match my bouquet) and the GMs will have white roses (to match the BPs bouquets).

I have no clue what he wants to wear... I recently seen a a nice gray suit that Vera Wang is coming out with and fell in LOVE!!! But of course FI said he didnt feel that it was "wedding enough"... I have a feeling this may take longer than what it did when I went to try on dresses...

We saw a picture of a dark grey tux that we both loved as dark grey is one of our colors.  We're actually going this afternoon to look at one.  If we don't end up liking it, we'll probably end up a classic black tux.  Here's the dark grey one we like:


No boutennieres- just went to a wedding wear all the men whole tuxes but had just pocket squares and we loved it.  FI will probably wear an ivory shirt/tie/vest/pocket square and other men in the WP will probably wear ivory shirts, dark grey tie/vest/, and a pink pocket square.

we are either doing dark grey or black



haven't decided yet. depend on what looks better with BM dresses when we pick those out. FI will wear ivory to match my dress and the GM will wear purple to match the dresses.

Groom will have a single calla lily and the GM will have light purple rose.

We butt heads on this ... its his choice in the end but I keep telling him he'll be sweating his cajones off ...

He is planning on wearing his military uniform don't get me wrong its hott & he looks amazing wearing it but were getting married on the beach provided weather permits and I know him and the other military guys wearing there uniforms willl be sweating!!! Our entire wedding ceremony, cocktail hr & reception is to be outside.

I'd rather him wear a khaki comfortable light suit this May I'm going to have him stand outside in a suit an see how he will feel rofl

Interesting develpment... we went to the tux shop and FI tried on the grey tux.  We liked it but it felt slightly informal.  I asked if he wanted to try on a black tux just to see and he said sure.  The guy who was helping us picked the most gorgeous, modern, fitted black tux that look absolutely stunning on FI.  My only concern is that our father's may not look good in it- it looks like you need a young body for something that fitted.  Now I want to bring my dad and put some things on him to see what might coordinate well.  We're very concerned with how our dads look because they're a big part of our WP- there's only one other guy in the WP.

I think as long as the style is similar, they should be okay. They shouldn't really have to be the same fit.

Sean & the guys are wearing grey suits with white shirts, black skinny ties, & grey Vans.  I was looking through NJ Brides back when we first got engaged & came across this look & realized it's so "him."  He loves it.

I'm thinking I might talk him into a darker grey for the suits though. I go back & forth about this though. My girls are wearing black dresses & I think the lighter grey would be a better contrast but it feels a tad TOO informal (our wedding is laid back but not THAT laid back if that makes sense).
