I'm back from my hell!

And I survived!  Ha!

FI had a nice mini-vaca in NYC Thursday, Friday, Saturday.  And Sunday was... the shower!  And guess what, after everyone dramatically tramatizing over it all week, I was the only one who had still done anything...

Actually, it was better than expected.  Everything looked beautiful (if I do say so myself!) and the bride was actually complimentary of all my work.  She did still try to control things while she was there, but only succeeded and in making herself look like an ass.  Overall, I kept a fake smile plastered on my face and it was fine.  I don't plan on doing anything else until the wedding... I'm almost through this!

Glad to hear that it went better than expected! I know that this has been a nightmare for you for awhile. Since the shower went better than expected, hopefully this will mean that the wedding won't be as bad as anticipated. Hopefully lol

I am glad that you and FI made a nice weekend out of it. Great weather to be in NYC this past weekend. I am also glad that it wasnt as bad and all the work YOU did turned out great. Few more months.....

Yes Mel I am. :) Sorta worked out in the end that we put the brakes on the wedding till we could agree 100% on what to do and how to go about it. A few weeks later I got a positive and now our focus is preparing for baby :)

I still come back and read how you ladies are doing and check out the pictures and updates and BIG CHECKS. I get my excitement through you all. :) Can not wait till next spring to start seeing wedding photos
