super straight and FLAT hair help

So my hair doesn't do anything style wise. Its super straight, and fine, but I have a ton of it so that makes it super flat, definitely no volume, and it absolutely will not hold a curl (which bums me out because all my fave wedding hair styles are wavy). Anytime I've had it styled down in the past it just fall flat, so its gunna be up. I would like to do a low updo, but I dont want my hair to look like its stuck to my head, I dont like the real slicked back looks. My hair's to my shoulders now, but Im growing it back out so it'll be pretty long by next april. Help! Any suggestions?

Add extensions. Have your hairstylist add pin curls and tease where you want some volume.  I hope this help.

I have the same issues. I haven't tried curling in awhile, but I like to use Suave's volumizing spray. It comes in a silver bottle with a purple pump. Just spray it on your roots before you dry your hair...instant volume!

I did hair like yours for a wedding last year and i used big sexy hair volume powder. I  rubbed it onto her roots, then ued a back combing BRUSH, then used aquage working spray on the back combing. Wait till it dryes then lightly smooth it  out with the brush, pin it back in a soft chignon. Try curling some pieces then pining the curls to the chignon. Hairspray is your best friend.
