Using Pinterest for wedding ideas

Has anyone done this before?  Did it help?

Plenty of people use Pinterest to gather ideas for their wedding.

Just a tip--people aren't likely to open a link for fear that it could contain a virus (even a YouTube one)

I saw you post a YouTube link on the Invites board about how to use STDs or something like that. The things you're posting videos on are not difficult questions and if people had questions, they'd just ask it here or Google it. And PP is right; most people will not open a link from a poster they don't know, and I usually don't even click on links from posters I do know. I would stop doing this.

I have gotten almost all my DIY ideas from pintrest...also alot of decor ideas LOVE it

Pinterest is the bomb! I love it! We just built our dream house and I got tons of ideas from the mighty P! Also, DD has gotten a lot of great ideas for her wedding there. 

My only complaint about Pinterest is it sucks me in and suddenly an entire hour (or more!) is GONE. LOL

Pinterest is wonderful for planning things. Create several boards like wedding hair/ wedding makeup/ wedding flowers, etc. Happy planning!

I agree with this! Too many ideas could be too much... Just make sure you have a common theme and find ideas on Pinterest to build on that. I could spend HOURS on there and have found so many great ideas. I will probably only end up using a few of them though.

I love Pinterest!  I used it mostly to save ideas of what I might like in the future (hair, bouquets, programs, etc).  Once I picked which one I wanted I deleted the others that way it wasn't all cluttered.

Yes, Pinterest is very, very popular for gathering wedding ideas.

There is a lot of vintagey, shabby-chic, woodenboards with handwriting, mirrors, chalkboards, pastel colours, raffia, twine, branches...

I love pinterest for planning my wedding. It helps me organize and visualize things that I want for my big day, such as hairstyles and shoes and flowers. 

It can be incredibly useful and a fun tool to use for sure!
