So I posted a long time ago about being sad about my "bachelorette" party falling through in December. The girl throwing it literally did nothing to plan until 2 days before and noone could make it so nothing happened. Fine, things happen, I'm over it now.
FI is getting really excited about his bachelor party the week of the wedding because his BM and another friend are doing a great job planning. He keeps asking when mine is going to be and what we're doing and I keep telling him it's not happening because no one has said anything to me and I "already had one". He keeps pushing me to ask my BMs who were invited but couldn't make it to the one that didn't happen to do something for me because he's convinced they don't know they are supposed to.
Of course I'd love to have a party but I am pretty sure it's horribly rude to ask people to throw you a party and spend money, especially when they've already given me gifts and bought a dress.
Should I say something to someone? Is FI right or am I right to just keep quiet?
Also, I am pretty sure there isn't any sort of surprise party in the works and only one college friend took the time to come to my shower so I am pretty sure no one is even thinking about it.
