Where are they?

I haven't gotten any RSVPs for the past two days.  It makes me sad.  Also, I know that there are many people on my side of the family that aren't coming (they have either told me in person or have told my mom).  Why oh WHY haven't they sent in their declines?  No RSVP does not equal "I'm not coming".  Check the spot next to "declines with regret" and just drop those bad boys in the mail.  I gave you a stamp already, it's not that hard.  Sheesh.

I feel you here. I havent been receiving them in last few days either. FI says well just count those that haven't sent them as No's but I know thats not the case. Just send the little card back it has a stamp!

I feel your pain!!  We had almost a week that went by without any responses.  Then yesterday, we got 4!  The hardest thing for me is that our families are not being very cooperative.  My FMIL's family in Missouri keep telling her they are coming but she tells me not to count them in until we get their cards back! ARGH!!!  It's nice that we finally have more confirmed/declined than we have outstanding RSVP's but, with under 2 weeks to go for our deadline...this is getting stressful!

I know, it really isn't that hard, we already put the stamp and the address! So far we have been getting RSVPs everyday... but still tons of friends and family members I know received their invite have yet to respond...

I haven't gotten any the last few days either..makes me sad too! 

It makes me worried that people lost theirs or they are lost in the mail (this is the control freak part of me kicking in )

I have a feeling that a couple weeks before the response deadline it will pick up again (I hope!!!). I really don't want to have too many people to have to contact to get a for sure answer from them. I also hope that people aren't thinking "oh she knows I am coming, I don't need to send it back" I do need them back! I need to know what you want to eat! 

I'm glad I'm not alone in my RSVP stress.

I feel your pain. Our deadline is today and we have over 100 outstanding invites! I don't understand why people can't just follow simple instructions.

I feel the same way! There are only 10 days left for ppl to send ours in. I've just started asking people and I've told my family to reach out to their invites as well. We have to light the fire under our guest!

We haven't even received RSVP from all of the obvious people like our immediate family and WP. It's like, come on guys! You know you're coming so just decide what you want to eat and RSVP already!

OMG this!  None of our WP has returned their RSVPs...and we're having a buffet, so they don't even have to specify a meal choice!  What the HECK.

Same here!!! My wedding party hasn't sent theirs back either!!! Do they think they don't have to??? I still need to know if your husband/wife/children are coming!!!!

Ha-ha!  Totally agree.  And, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be tracking down a lot of people.

I have to admit that I'm "that" guest that doesn't send back an RSVP right away. Even if I know for sure if I can go or not, the invitation with the response card usually just sits on my counter for a few days until I remember to send it back.

But, with that being said, I definitely understand the frustration! I wish everyone would respond RIGHT NOW

It's been a full WEEK since we have gotten any! They came in a mad rush at first, now nothing.. I just don't understand the hold up. You'd have the STD for 5 months, you know whether that date is available for you or not at this point. All you need to do is check a box and seal an envelope. AUGH!

We havnt gotten any back for 2 weeks...and the hotel block ran out last week...so I kind expected some since I was very clear with people that they only had until the end of feb if they wanted to be garunteed a place to stay...I wish people would just say no if they are not planning on coming, surly by now, for an out of town wedding people would know if they have booked a room or not yet or be looking into it since it is on a long weekend. Vendors are asking about how many tables/centerpieces etc I need and only half the guest list has replied so I have to assume they are all coming, it would make my life so much easier and cheaper if people would just respond! hahaha.

haha YES!  I have people who have already booked their hotel rooms, I get emails with updates on how many rooms are left - 5 couples have booked rooms, but not sent back RSVP cards!!  Honestly I just want to go around to everyone's house and just stand there until they fill it out!
