Hey ladies and fellow knotties (god that's embarrassing)

I'm not the guy who posted the secret but I've been lurking for about 2 years off and on, ever since my wife started posting while planning her sister's wedding and then we started planning soon after and both came to the boards. I left for a while after someone called me a "pretty princess" when I was under my wife's sn haha, and I never posted (but read a lot) after that until now, under my own new name.

FYI: The secret from the Ivy Leaguer with two doctorates? It's not me but it's another guy. I know who you are, Dude

My fiancee (at the time) was spending a huge amount of time and energy on everything for the wedding, and I didn't understand why we were bothering with expensive food or seating plans or RSVP cards or those things people take home with them and I said something like "Why is any of this important. It's supposed to be a party about us". Yeah. I get it now! Our wedding was awesome and everyone had fun and it's because she put so much thought into it.

You were right! I was being a princess, haha.

I often wonder if some of our guys lurked without us knowing if they'd use the insight gained on this board to help or hinder their relationship. If I could get inside my DH's head and really see what he's thinking, that would be awesome sometimes. But also sneaky, so that's kind of the crux. Of course, this is public, so not really confidential in a lot of ways.
