Universal Life Church vs. Universal Life Church Monastery

I have been looking for a place for my officiant to get ordained online and have come across Universal Life Church and Universal Life Church Monastery (themonastery.org). I have seen some people speak highly of the monastery on these boards, but I'm wondering if there is a preference? Is one legit and one not?

PS I have already looked into the laws in my state and know it will be legal to be married by someone who was ordained online.

We used the Monastery, mostly since they had the NYC package which had all the paperwork the city required without a bunch of extra junk. I think it worked out to be cheaper too, and shipped very quickly. 

As far as I could tell they are almost identical organizations and the Monastery spilt off after the orginal organization had some tax issues.
