Good morning!

Morning!
Had another killer aerobics session last night, my thighs are killin' me!  Today is going to be a great day at work.  I have my behavioral reward party for the kids, which basic means all the kids that behaved and came to school (25 out of 40 of my kids) get  to come to a pizza party!  So I get to hang out and have fun with my kids for a couple of hours.  I'm pretty pumped for it:-)
Have a great day!
EDIT:  This is my 2000th post!  I am now a silver poster, woohoo!!

Whoo hoo congrats on being a silver poster! And a pizza party sounds awesome - can I volunteer to bring cupcakes :-D

I woke up with a pounding headache today after 8 hours of sleep and felt like I had just gone to bed.  Eeeww.  I also sent in my check for 3% local taxes yesterday , such a killer.  Now that I work somewhere with a real payroll department, things are being withheld like they are supposed to.  PAIN!

Tonight I meet with our new realtor to write up our offer.  Sadly DH is in baltimore as usual on business, so he'll be joinging us via conference call and fax.

Yay for a pizza party! I also had to send in my 3% local tax last week, I forget about it every year until I do my taxes and then I'm like oh crap, I should have been more prepared! So annoying.

I got back from a fishing trip in WV with my fiance's family last night and I got A LOT of sun, which is exciting except my cheeks are still red! haha It was fun to be away from work for a few days, but now I have a ton of work to do!

    Have a great day!

Dear God  my co irker has been clipping his nails at his desk for 13 minutes now.  Yes I've been counting.  The sound of a nail clipper is the single most annoying sound.  Please do not let me throw my printer or other large office equipment at him.  He's 15 feet away through 2 doorways and I can still hear the noise...Aghhhh!!!

    Good Morning!
Nothing too exciting for me yesterday... today is another school day (one more week! yay) so it's a long one... I have one more class after this one then I have two weeks off!! But I can't get too excited b/c after my 2 weeks off, I have to go back for a 4 night a week CRAZY class schedule! Thank god it's only for 5 weeks!!! It's going to absoutely kill me working full time and having class 4 nights a week! ouch!

Heather - YAY for the pizza party!! It's crazy how few of the kids actually get to go~ also yay for a great aerobics class! I keep saying it but I REALLY need to start working out again! It's just so hard with my schedule (work + school) I just never have the energy!
Bri - GL with the new realtor! Hope this one works out for you!
Ross - Sounds like a fun trip!! and yay for getting some sun! I DESPERATELY need some color right now! I'm SO pale!!

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Good Morning! Commuting yesterday and this morning hasn't been too bad- I think people have stayed away/telecommuted to avoid traffic and closures. We cleaned last night- I'm feeling much better about the state of our apt., but it's still frustrating to not have enough living space. I stayed up way too late, bet. the cleaning and then ordering pics from CVS's website since they were on sale for 9 cents each.Yay for finally having my honeymoon pics printed out!

H- Congrats on becoming a silver poster! Enjoy the pizza party today!

Bri- Hope your headache goes away. GL with the offer tonight!

What is this 3% local tax you ladies speak of? Is it a county thing? I don't remember my parents having to pay something like that, and I never payed taxes in PA. Just curious!

The 3% tax is 3% of your income goes to the city of Pittsburgh.  It's for city residents at the 3%, but then residents of various other munis have taxes, Mt. Oliver is 1%, Mt. Lebo is 1%, Wexford is 1% etc.  Most employers withhold it, but some do not - annoying!  The local taxes in PA are based where yoi live, not where you work for the most part, but in other areas like Ohio it's based on where you work.  So if you travel a lot for business (like DH) you could schedule out those days and save a boat load of local 3% tax.  However, sadly, City of Pgh is too smart for that.

    Good Morning All,

I had a good evening yesterday, I finished with my meetings no the Hill around 4:30, so I stopped to get some fro yo and picked up Eclipse from the library. I am horribly sucked into the Twilight saga. I've read the two books in less than a week (and I'm a slow reader!) After that I worked out and then  FI's BFF, FI, and I went to the Cereal Bowl a new "restaurant" in Cleveland Park that mixes cereals. I've seen it on TV (it is a chain) and was intrigued. I enjoy cereal, but it was like $6 to mix cereal, when I can do that at home. But, it was fun to go, I just won't be in a huge hurry to go again.

    Heather- mmmm... pizza party! Enjoy!
Bri- HOW MANY NAILS DOES HE HAVE? He must be cutting his toenails too! On a non-snarky note-- good luck on your offer! My fingers are crossed for you!
Ros- Yay for WV! I am a proud WVU grad and am heading there this weekend!
GMC- good luck with your classes... what are you studying?
Kim- my commute was easy peasy today. Loved it! Hope it keeps up!

    Have a great day everyone!!

Good Luck tonight with the realtor Briv! so exciting! I saw your posting for the bride t-shirt in T2T yesterday. Let me know i you don't end up selling it

Cereal Bowl? I've never heard of that- but it sounds really interesting! I would agree tho- $6 for some cereal is a bit pricey...

Kim- I soooo wish you lived here- I would love to scrap book with you!

I talked to 3 (out of 5) of my BMs last night- they all feel so out of the loop with my shower (happeneing this Sunday!). noone knows what's going on and they all are saying its totally unorganized. No theme, even tho I told them the theme I was kinda hoping for a few months ago... I really don't care too much about having an extravagent shower...but it would be nice for my ladies to get coordinate with all this... *sigh*

Traffic this morning was terrible.  Really PGH its only rain, it won't melt your car, and you have windsheild wipers to push it off your window.  Gah.

Well after 2 trips to the mall and trying on over 50 different dresses (not really but it felt like it, in the end it was probably 30), I have found a dress to wear for 2 weddings that we have the next 2 weekends. It was a painful experience, but I'm really happy with my purchase from H&M! I've never really shopped at H&M but they have some really cute things right now!

Hope everyone has a great day!

oh! duq- do you have pictures? I have a few weddings to go to this year as well.  And I'm weird- but I just don't like wearing the same dresses to weddings with potentially the same people. There are so many pictures taken at weddings- I don't want to be dressed the same in all these pics

JL - I COMPLETELY hear you on the Twilight Saga... I read all 4 books in 3 weeks! It was absolutely insane! I was never into it and then I watched the first 'Twilight' movie and was sucked in from there! I immediately went out and bought all of the books and that was it!! lol! Enjoy Eclipse! New Moon was my favorite out of the series!! :)

I've heard of the cereal bowl - My cousin was telling me about it when I went to DE to visit her! I thought it sounded pretty crazy! I mean, I love cereal and all, but I can't imagine paying 6-10 dollars for someone to pour me a bowl! lol - I'm glad you enjoyed it though!! I would probably go for the experience too!

I'm going for my masters in Special and Elementary Education - I did my undergrad in Interior Architecture and I'm just not happy with it! Complete change of direction but I think I'll be happy in the end... It just stinks b/c I still have to work full time so I can only take 2 classes/semester... I feel like it's taking FOREVER!! lol!

Kim - I'm glad your commute hasn't been as bad as you feared!! And I hear you on the apartment cleaning and lack of space! I'm dying in my apt!! I just need more room!!!!!!!

Ok, I see- thanks for the explanation! My parents live way out in the 'burbs, so I guess it doesn't apply to them.

Jl- I have heard of the cereal place, but I agree- too pricey!

S- I wouid love to have a scrapbooking buddy! When I scrapbook that is... I didn't do nearly as much as I wanted to this winter. I just have so many pics to print out! And yay for your shower this weekend!! Good morning everyone!  Heather, I'm right there with you... I am dying from ballet bootcamp and turbo kickboxing last night.  FI and I made a bunch of different paninis last night, yum :)

Also H, yay for silver poster status!
Bri, good luck on the offer!  And clipping nails at work is GROSS.
Ros, glad you had a fun trip to WV- how nice to be outside in warm weather.
G, yay for at least a little bit of time off from school!  I don't know how you do it... I'm going back full-time next year and I'm intimidated enough as is ;)
Kim, glad the commute hasn't been so bad.  I'm hearing a lot about that summit in the news.
JL, I too was intrigued and then slightly disappointed with one of those cereal stores.
S, who exactly is hosting your shower and where is it?  (And mine is this weekend too, squee!)  Also, I am the exact same way about clothing to wedding- I never repeat a dress within like two or three years because it gets so photographed!
Meg, I'd like to see pics too!

Marbus-Sorry, H&M doesn't allow you to shop online in America.  It is a v-neck sheath dress in navy.  It is very classy, you could dress it up or down.  I'm going to wear it with gold heels and a gold clutch this weekend and probably with wedges and colored jewlery next weekend.  Thankfully, there won't be any mixed company at the weddings.

Yay for your shower this weekend, LaFemme! I feel like we haven't talked about showers on here for a long time- maybe it's just that no one has had one lately. I loved my shower, specifically just getting to see friends and family all in the same room, since living OOT makes that a lot harder.

GMC- Did Bella get on your nerves? I find her so helpless that it just annoys me.
Good for you for going to school for something you love! I think about switching careers often, but don't know if I ever will...

The cereal place was all about the experience. It was fun, but I'd rather go to the California Tortilla (kind of fast food mexican chain so delicious) across the street any day!

Marburs- I'm sorry that your shower seems to be lacking. I'm sure it will all come together in the end! What theme did you want? Where are you having it at?

LaFemme- Now, I see why you exercise so much, you always seem like you are eating delicious food! :) Where is your shower at? In Pittsburgh? Are you excited?!?

Marburs and LaFemme- What one thing off  your registry do you really, really hope that you get this weekend? And, did you cheat and look at your registry to see what people bought?

I did cheat a tiny bit- but I've been trying so hard not to cheat anymore! And when I did- about a week ago- not that much stuff was bought off of it...

I soooo hope that I get my Kitchen Aid mixer!!! I'm sooo excited for that!

My BMs rented a hall thing at a church- its really pretty.   I still need to go out and get a dress for it... I'm like you Kim- I'm just excited to see everyone.

Hahaha JL, that's exactly right- I don't believe in diets so I'd rather eat what I want and exercise a lot :)

My shower will be in Pittsburgh at the lovely home of one of FI's aunts, and I'm so excited!!  None of my BMs live in the burgh, so I'm really really happy that three of them will be able to fly in and attend too.  Kim, I feel the same way- getting to see everyone there together will be wonderful since it almost never happens!

I have been trying very hard not to registry stalk!  I haven't looked in a couple of weeks, but now that you brought it up I really want to ;)  I guess the things I am most excited about are the kitchen items- the stand mixer, the food processor, the wok, the blender.  I used to work at Williams-Sonoma and I am such a kitchen gadget junkie!

JL - Yeah, Bella did kind of annoy me... I think I just loved the whole 'love story' aspect so I kind of overlooked it. I always loved Jacob though - I just felt so bad for him!  I hope you enjoy Eclipse then it's on to Breaking Dawn!! :) I'm going to re-read Eclipse before the movie comes out in June...

Meg - I know exactly what you mean about people driving in the rain! The way people drive, you would think the sky is falling in! And yay for getting a dress!! I always love having an excuse to go shopping ;)

LaFemme - You are ALWAYS doing such fun things!! Your exercise classes sound like so much fun!!

LaFemme & Marbus - YAY for your showers!! I hope you have a fabulous time with friends and family!!

I like the first one as well- probably my fav. But I want something that covers my knees when I sit down... just cause I figure I'll be sitting a lot opening gifts and I don't want to have to worry about any money shots...

They're at Macys.  I'm going out again tomorrow to look- so I'll have more pictures then. I'm limited to just the stores downtown- I just dont think I'll have time to go out to a mall or anything.  So I'll come back with pics tomorrow.

Thanks ladies! You guys are the best!  oh- and I'm def keeping the black socks! lol!!

I love the first one!!!  I wish I had had a spring shower so i could wear a ligth color.  The rose makes it very feminine and "innocent' looking :-D

Sorry you BM are clueless about the shower.  Whoever was organizing was the poop head there. Wish you could have had your breakfast in Tiffany theme.  Maybe though they are just faking not knowiing anything and it really is the theme??!?!?

I'm in a wedding where the shower is May 22, still no invite in the mail. I've gotten invites for showers after that day already.   I know ZERO about a shower I've been asked to pay $ towards.  And when I ask questions, I get, oh we're working on that.  Annoying!
