[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Beauty products you swear by : Awesome!  I was going to order his Pore Vacuum on pay day and try it out.  I have been using Biore strips and the Neutrogena Pore refining Toner and Cleansers with microbeads, but I still have a few pores that always have black-heads.

<div>Clinique Exfoliator. Seriously. I get little blackheads in my cheeks that drive me crazy. This stuff got it all out in a week. It's $14.</div>

I love my bare mineral foundation.  It covers reasonably well without causing me to break out. I really want to go play at Sephora now too!

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Beauty products you swear by : Is that the No-No?  I wanted to try that. Ok, how about self- tanning lotions, ladies?  Which do you like best, which don't turn you orange?  I forget which one I am using right now- it's not Olay or Jergens- and I like it, but I don't think it will let me go as dark as I want.  Mind you I don't want to look like that lady who was addicted to tanning, but just a little darker as the summer goes along.

Nope it's the silk'n sense. Sephora has it but I know that groupon also has deals on it sometimes. If you're thinking about it, try it from Sephora so you can return it if you don't like it. I'm not sure if you can return it with the groupon deal. I think Sephora also has other devices that cost less now. I got mine when it was new to the market and it cost a pretty penny. I split the costs with my mom and sister though since they wanted to try it too.

I'm allergic to self-tanning lotions, so I'm no help there!
  • Dermatologica Daily Microfoliant.

Until I met that stuff I'd never spent more than $20 on any beauty product, ever, and now I can't go a day without it. Their Special Cleansing Gel is also great for my special sensitive emo skin, but that microfoliant is a straight up beautiful miracle from Jeebus.

  • Ok so I've seen some PPs post about pore minimizers. Does that help with oily skin? I have super dry skin in some areas but I get really oily a few hours into my day. Will a pore minimizer help that? Or does that only help the appearance of pores?
  • 1.  Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion - keeps your eyeshadow right where you put it to stay all day, and gives you a clean slate upon which to create your eye look.

    2.  Benefit "They're Real" mascara - the best mascara I've found in a while. Love it.

    3.  Anastasia brow powder and Smashbox brow powder brush. I don't go out until I've put my eyebrows on. We blondes have to watch those eyebrows...they tend to disappear.

    4.  Cargo Essential Palette - best collection of four neutral/brown shadows ever.

    5.  Revlon Cream Blush - I don't like the look of a dry powder blush sitting on top of a moist-looking cream or liquid foundation, so I've become a big fan of Revlon Cream Blush. I normally use a foundation brush to put it on,but sometimes my fingers. It's the perfect shade for me.

    6.  This should go at the top of the list, it's that important. I moisturize with Creme de La Mer and with  La Mer's Eye Balm Intense. I love them both so much. They really should have been #1 on the list.

    7.  Retin-A Micro 0.4%. Love this stuff. It gets rid of old skin cells so my newer and prettier skin can glow with health and vitality.

Lately I've been using Revlon Photoready Liquid Foundation. I apply it with a foundation brush and I do like it, but I'm liking it a little less as time goes by.

[QUOTE]My skin is hella oily. I shine 2 hours into putting on makeup. I just caved and spent decent money on Lorac's Porfection Mattifying Primer: This is now the God of my new religion. This and blotter sheets, any kind. I also bought their foundation, but I have no idea if the stuff is good or the primer just makes it good. Whatever, mattifying primer forever.

I am giving this a try. Hoping for good results!

    Makeup is my jam!!!
Love Makeup Forever foundation, Lorac lipstick in baby doll.  Hulu bronzing powder, Ulta has my favorite eyeliner, it's not expensive, and goes on very smooth.
Tart has a great coral blush.
Mac just came out with a new mascara that it AMAZING.  I always use mascara primer but this doesn't need it!
And I know that this isn't make up, but for perfume I like Viva la Juicy and Aqua Di Gioa.  I used to like VIctoria's Secret Strawberries and Champagne but I don't think they make it anymore...I used to spray it on my sheets :)
ETA Zoberg I love the lipstick in your first post, I will have to write it down!
