Ok, I've been patient, but I've had just about enough of today's new posters trying to stir up trouble on this and other boards. Please stop. Thank you.

Thank you, KI. I've read about 2 minutes of it and I'm about fed up already.

Maybe I'm missing something because I'm a newb...what is the significance of AE?

A capitalized A and E indicate that the account is an alter ego of another poster. They have been used by posters who believe they have been wrongly or unfairly banned as a way of flipping the bird to the Knot gods. So the fact that all these trolls are over the top and out in full force, but with AEs make me think they are regs playing an April Fools joke on newbs by giving bad advice while still indicating to other regs that they are in on the joke.

Yes, I think you're right. Still, it seems like there are some newbs who are reading their joke advice as legitimate advice. There could be some fall-out from this.

  • Ah. I get it now, thank you :) None of the regs seem to be speaking out too much against this sudden influx of nonsense, so perhaps you are on to something. They started popping up over a week ago though. If this is a prank, it's quite elaborate.

Well I'll speak out about it. It's annoying the hell out of me. I'm not a fan of practical jokes.

  • Kaos, that is a great pic! I will definitely be saving that to my computer.
In Response to Re: How do I ask my bridesmaids? : I don't know, I am really trying to get all of my bridesmaids together to ask them at the same time. There always seems to be one girl who can't make it when everyone else can, so I think I'm just not going to ask her to be a bridesmaid.
    Posted by AUnicornExists
You should ask each girl individually so that if they do not want to be a BM they won't feel pressure from others around them to say yes when they really may want to say no. People are more apt to go along with a group decision so as to not rock the boat when they are asked something in a group setting as opposed to being asked individually.

Also, you really would consider not asking a close friend to be a BM because she can't make your BM get together? Please tell me you are joking?

I second this. The first few were funny, but not anymore.

Also, most regs wouldn't want to give bad advice to the newbs because we would then have to try and undo the damage later.

  • ?? Like 5 people have capital A and E in their names is it a club or something?

AE = alter ego. Usually, SNs with AE in them are alternate logins for regulars.
