Bridal Shower corsage

We are hosting a bridal shower and our question is on whether or not to get a corsage for the Brides father's wife. The Bride was an adult when her father married, so this woman has never been a mother figure to the Bride. The Brides mother has been deceased for a long time. Should we have a corsage for her as well as the grandmother' and mother of the groom?

We aren't doing corsages for anyone for any parties or the wedding.  Oh I lied, the grandma's are getting corsages if they want them (I still need to ask them).  I don't think corsages are required, and if it would mean the SMIL would be slighted by being the only mom without one, I'd either
A) get her one too

Def dont need to get corsages. I'd personally skip them unless someone like really really wants them but if they dont care just skip them.

I would skip corsages all together for a shower. It's an unnecessary expense.  But, if you are going to do them, I would probably get one for Dad's wife and all grandparents.

I've never heard of this, so my vote is to skip it (but you're thoughtful for thinking about it)

I've never heard of corsages at a shower.  If you're getting them for all the bride's other close relatives though, leaving out her father's wife will seem very pointed.  I'd be the bigger person and include one for her as well, even if the bride doesn't consider her a mother.

I was completely shocked when I got a corsage at my bridal shower.  It never occured to me that one would even WANT a corsage when all we were doing was having a luncheon and sitting around and chatting.  It's a super weird tradition.

I wore my corsage, but would have been ok with not having one (actually would have preferred it).
