I have a kid.  I am a bad mom.  I admit I am super excited when I get a wedding invite with just FI and my name!  I'm all "oh yeah!  Mama's getting a sitter!!!!" actually.........I do this for most weddings.

I flame anyone that cares what their guests wear to the wedding. Honestly, you are just creating stress for yourself if you are worried that your guests will wear flip flops or jeans or black or WHATEVER. Let it go, surely there are other things you can thinks about. I had no idea what anyone wore to my wedding until I looked at the photos a month later.

I flame people who take ages to get out thank you cards after their wedding (or other events). My brother got married in October. I did a reading during the ceremony, and my FI and I gave them a nice card with a financial gift inside. I have yet to receive a thank you card. Worse, I've gotten to look at the pretty thank you card they sent to my parents (my mom stuck it up on the bulliten board in her kitchen). And it's not a matter of mine getting lost in the mail; I mentioned it to my mother, who casually asked them if they got them all done yet, and she said they were "still working on friends and some less-major family"

Yeah, I literally just went "oh... ok..." and that was the end of the conversation when my mom told me. My brother and I are EXTREMELY close, we are eachothers best friend and have been that way for life; and his wife and I are good friends, too. I guess my brother felt bad that mine wasn't sent out yet, so he drove it over to my mom's for me..? Why not just put it in the mail, or better yet, drive it to MY house? so weird. but, whatever. Big picture, it's not a big issue, but still left me miffed x2 - once for the lack of a thank you 6 months post wedding, and once for being "less-major" family.

Eh, she's a very obvious troll that has managed to avoid banning somehow. She likes to drop into threads, say one inflammatory thing, then leaves. I usually just pat her on her little troll head between her pointy troll ears and pray that THIS time, someone will ban her.
