Flamingo Brides - Ceremony extras?

Im starting to figure out the 'extras' for my ceremony  for the budget and I am considering hiring the aisle runner for $200, however I dont want it if it is dirty (I remember a post about a different chapel whose aisle runner had marks all over it). If I had the aisle runner I would want to have rose petals but Im not sure whether it is worth it? Im also undecided about the altar sprays ($125 each for basic floral).

Brides who got married / are getting married at the Flamingo West Lawn or Garden Gazebo did you hire the cloth aisle runner? And what other extras did you have for your ceremony floral?

Re: Flamingo Brides - Ceremony extras?

  • OOOH I'm a Flamingo bride to be haha. I was also stuck on getting the aisle runner, but I seen a wedding setup 2 weeks ago when I was there and it looked good without a runner, plus if you are having a flower girl then she will set out a bunch of petals. I had the same concerns about it being dirty or just not looking the way I would picture it to. I am getting the altar sprays though. the alter sprays are the only extras I am getting aside from the bouquet upgrades for me and my MOH.

  • I am also a Flamingo Bride (whoot whoot) I am not doing the runner because I didn't want  it to get dirty either.. If you are having a flower girl and she is throwing the flower petals then you don't need the runner because the petals will just cover it anyways..
Save the money for something else :) Just a thought !!
  • Thank you brides. Kristen just sent me some pics of the gazebo chapel without any extras and I kind of like it. What do you think? Too plain?

  • I'm getting married at the Gazebo Chapel in a few weeks, and I'm not doing anything. No aisle runner, no petals, no altar sprays. To me, it's only going to be 10-15 minutes max and I think it looks beautiful with all the greenery around the gazebo. In fact, it's probably the reason why we chose it since it was simply stunning without anything else.

I thought about making faux flower pomanders to hang on the aisle chairs (and I still might - depends on how much time I have left!), but that's just about it.
