Looking For a NON-Catered Wedding Reception Venue

Hello everyone,
I am looking for a reception venue that will allow me to bring my own food and drinks and cake. I feel like it's impossible to find somewhere, I am from the South Side of the city (Baldwin area) but will travel if need be. Please help!!!

  • Check out the County parks websites.  There are a lot of buildings available for rentals in the parks that allow you to bring your own vendors and are very cheap.  North Park has the Lodge, Boat House and few others for example.
  • The Pittsburgh Opera House will allow you to bring your own food and alcohol, as will the Union Project.  The New Hazlett Theater will allow you to bring your own food but they supply the alcohol.  Hartwood Acres in the North Hills will allow you to bring your own food and drink.  The Mattress Factory will also allow you to bring your own food and alcohol

  • I'm getting married at the North Park Lodge. It's got a big kitchen downstairs for use, plus you get use of the grounds around it (too bad mine is at the end of Dec). The girl at the Union Project was helpful, though we never toured it. The pictures make it look beautiful.
