My dress is being made - it is lace and mermaid style. I want to add some bling around the waistline and a champagne sash. The dress isn't white but it isn't ivory - it is more of a silk white.
The bridesmaids are in a dark, eggplant purple.
I want to make sashes for them too.
For them: should I do a champagne sash, with ivory/gold lace appliques, OR I bought purple and gold brooches that I can add to a ribbon with some silk champagne flowers maybe? It is easier to find the appliques than it is to find silk flowers.
ALSO
For my dress: I want us to tie in together somehow and the only gold bling for a sash I can find is kind of tacky and too gold. I want more of a champagne look or just rhinestone/pearl combo.
Having the hardest time imaging how this will all tie together. I told the girls to get gold shoes but didn't even think how that would work with the sash. No one has bought shoes so maybe I can ask them to just get ivory or champgne colored shoes?
