O M G..WTH just happen....with 10 days to go

Ok..so about an hour ago I get a VM alert and the message is from thr venue..long msg short..we haven't heard from you..if you want to cancel we will be willing to give you back your dep please call us.

So I tell FI. So no I'm at work. Tell me FI called around to some halls and one is available for next saturday amd he wants to book it !! Yes..FI wants to change recpetion location with 10 days left !!!! What do I do ? I'm so confused and looking deered eyed !!

I really don't want to change venues and then having to call all my guest and letting them know of the change. I think it will be very chaotic. A lot of things would have to be change. I don't think I got the energy for this.

Why does he want to change?   I'd stick with the current venue unless there's a serious reason to change.  There would be a lot of work involved with changing the venue for your vendors, guests, etc.   BUT that being said it is doable.  Just get all hands on deck if you do make the change.

FI thinks by the venue letting us out of our contract and giving us our dep back it would be an opportunity for us to save money. Due to us moving in July to ATL, but like you said it would be a lot to make changes and toe it would seem just tackey amd chaotic. We have been talking about this since I posted this. It just too much. Finally I said NO ! We are continuing with our orignal plans. We will be fine .

I would just continue with the original plans as you stated.  Too much to do/put on you to make those accommodations.  But looks like I'm late and you made your decision. LOL! I'm just here for the moral support :-)

Lol..I do appreciate the support Cha. Girl we was going round and round. I'm like im all about saving money. But its just to late and it will just add extra stress we don't need. I'm like we will be fine and everything will be ok. Have faith..God is on our side !!
