Will you have your BMs in the same dress, co-ordinated but ones they chose, or something other?

We all went shopping together.  I told them I didn't care....they could pick whatever they wanted.  The dresses could be different, the same, coordinating colors or the same color...it wasn't a big deal to me.

They chose to wear matching dresses in the same color.

I'm very lucky in that i have some really fantastic BMs and an awesome MOH.

I picked them, but not in the traditional sense of picking them. I went with Henkaa convertible dresses, so each girl can pick what they want to do with the dress, but they're all in the same color and length.

Mine are matching. But we are also having mixed genders so I didn't want it to be busy.

Ditto to the PPs. They will be wearing in the same color family and the same length, but different styles. I will be going shopping with each of them and we will shop within their budget.

My bridesmaids are doing all different. I told them that they could do whatever dress they wanted as long as they were long dresses and in my color pallet ranging from navy, plums, purples, fuschia and wine colors.

We went to David's Bridal. I asked only that they choose a dress in the same fabric and length. Two of the three girls ended up loving the same dress, while the other chose another dress with a different neckline. They will all look beautiful and I am happy that they will be comfortable in their dresses! ETA: I also asked that they wear the same color - plum.

i picked different dresses, but i just chose four dresses from one designer that were similar and told each girl which dress she was wearing.  a few designers do plan for you to do this - watters and jordan fashions come to mind off the top of my head. hope this helps!

My bridesmaids don't have dresses yet, but I know what color and length I want. Next step is to find a designer who has several styles in the same dress and let them pick within those styles. My only requirements are that they are NOT the same dress and it's not strapless because the church doesn't allow bare shoulders. I want my girls to look good and be comfortable in what works for them. Also don't want them to look like clones. It may be easier for me because I only have three.

My BMs were just told the length and color, and I trusted them with the rest. Ahhhh best wedding planning decision I made. SO much less stress.

I picked out a reasonable dress for my girls that is full length and strapless. They are free to have the dresses shortened or to add straps to be comfortable

I will have everyone wearing the same thing colour, style, fabric, cut, length and detail... Almost all my bms will be around the same length and body type so I dont see why that should b a problem. Plus they know Im anal

I told the girls I'd like them in charcoal gray long dresses, and the five of them ended up picking the same one when we went shopping. I was hellbent on not forcing them into the same dress, but they all ended up liking the same one, so it made everything pretty easy.

I let them all give me pics/ideas of what they liked and then I chose a dress from their pics that would be flattering for all three of them.  So they're all wearing the same dress but in different colors - they got to choose the color.

I picked out a dress for everyone, since it was under $50. I didn't think they'd find a better deal than that.

My girls have pretty much free rein, I just asked that they choose either a blue or a yellow dress.
