How many dresses did you try on?

I was reading an article today saying you should never try on more than ten gowns. I have easily tried on at least 20 so far. The main issue is I kept trying on these dresses I thought I wanted and they just weren't working. I went to two boutiques so far and at each one I tried on many very lacy, somewhat poofy dresses.…

I tried on probably half a dozen. Oddly enough, the first one I put on wound up winning the contest. I thought, "OK, I really should try on these others...but they'd have to be really amazing to outdo this first one."
