Chicagoland Area- BYOB and F(ood) Venues?

I've been to several weddings in Michigan where they rented a space and brought in just about everything else, including beverages and food. I would like to do something similar here in IL, but am finding very few options, especially in the Southwest suburbs. I'm not tied to this area but cannot venture out TOO far. Any suggestions?

I'm in Dekalb. My wedding is in 6 day. My venue allows self caterers but does not allow you to being in your own beer. It's only 100 to open the bar though. He does allow you to bring in your own wine or champagne but its a 3.50 cork popping fee. It's called Hopkins Park Gardens and Terrace Room

Try park districts.  Some of them will let you purchase a liquor permit.  Lombard will and check out Lake Katherine.
